Good news! The hard work of Tyler ISD students, teachers, and staff has paid off. Test scores for 2015-16 have improved. While there is still room to grow in reading and math, many schools showed marked improvements from previous years.

Tyler ISD saw gains in 11 of 17 assessment areas when compared to 2015 scores. Since 2014, TISD has gone from having 11 campuses rated by the state as “Improvement Required” down to only three campuses in 2016.

It’s good to give credit where credit is due. The future of Tyler students is bright, and I look forward to their success!
